Coffee County Commissioner Barry West (D) posted a comment on his facebook page on Saturday stating “HOW TO WINK AT A MUSLIM” followed by an image of a double-barrel shot gun. This is a hate filled post targeted at Muslims and is not acceptable from anyone, let alone someone holding a public office! Today, we are asking our network to please contact the Rutherford County Attorney Jim Cope. Please ask Mr. Cope to appeal Judge Robert Corlew’s decision that revoked the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro’s building permit and to ensure that religious equality is preserved in Tennessee.
